Hey Labyrinth folks,
Keith Buccholz is cooking up a barrage of short, simple, fun
event scores to be performed as part of Saturday the 5th's
Flux-Mazz event at the Metropolitan Community Church of the Blue ridge between 3:30pm to 7:30pm. These performances will interlace between the performances of visiting poets from around the country.
We needs 8-10 volunteers to help perform these scores. The only requirements is a black hat (of any kind). No history performing event scores is necessary! Let me know if your interested and I'll compile a list of performers, we'll meet at the Church at 3:15ish before the Flux-Mazz and Keith and I will help with instructions.
After putting out a call for "performance scores for a church" Keith has received scores from Ken Friedman, Reed Altemus, Alan Revich, Picasso Gaglione, Hannah Higgins, Alison Knowles and more! I can not stress how awesome, generous, and encouraging this outpouring of support from Fluxus veterans is for the Roanoke fringe community.
For those of you not familiar with event scores they are fun, simple, short performance gestures that express an interest in humor, experience, play, indeterminacy, fun, sound... and that's just skimming the surface!
